We recognize the scope of kingdom work is vast and that CBC is not able to directly financially support every single organization or person that works faithfully. Below are listed ministry efforts that CBC has connections with and endorse as worthy causes.
Men of Valor International
Brad Smith, a member of CBC, launched Men of Valor in November 2004, after an eye-opening experience from a mission trip to India earlier that year. He realized that a man in the US who is serious about his walk in Christ can easily join up with other godly men to connect and build friendships, grow and improve in life and godliness, and make a difference through service in his Kingdom, but such opportunities do not exist in many places around the world.
If we believe that the Bible says men are to lead, that they are to be strong, holy, humble, prayerful men of God, then we must show them how. When you change the man, you change his marriage, you change his family, you change his church, you change his community.
Men of Valor has served thousands of men and their families from hundreds of churches―pastors; church leaders; and just regular guys, young and old, single and married. After conducting several dozen conferences on five continents, the Lord has made it clear that these messages and this ministry crosses cultures with impact. It resonates in the hearts of bishops, pastors, elders, laymen, and men from the streets.

Rebuild Haiti
One of our currently supported missionaries and also former CBC elder, Aubrey Ralph and his wife Juliette helped found Rebuild Haiti, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquakes. Their mission is to assist Haitians in rebuilding their nation by improving access to food, education, and housing. Initially, teams often consisting of CBC members, traveled to Haiti regularly, linking up with local churches and working shoulder to shoulder with our Haitian brothers and sisters but recent political instability has prevented direct travel. Work continues on the ground through an amazing team of Haitian Christians.
Lazarus Motorworks
Lazarus MotorWorks is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization located in Northern Virginia. Their mission is to secure reliable and affordable vehicles for struggling families in Northern Virginia. They are supported by generous donors who want to breathe new life into their neighbors and local community with their generous donations.
Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. OCC is a global mission project by Samaritan’s Purse that collects and delivers shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to millions of children in over 170 countries. Since 1993, the initiative has distributed more than 220 million boxes as a means of providing humanitarian aid and sharing the Christian Gospel. Beyond the physical gifts, the program includes a 12-lesson discipleship course called The Greatest Journey, which aims to provide long-term spiritual support and education to recipients through a network of local church partners worldwide.
Sheep of Salvation Feeding Ministry
Founded by Niko Brown, a CBC member, Sheep of Salvation Feeding Ministry (SOS) is a faith-based nonprofit devoted to answering Jesus’ call to feed the hungry, grounded in the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31–41).
SOS serve individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, As an expression of their faith and commitment to love our neighbors through tangible acts of compassion, Niko and the team invest their time, expertise, and resources to develop innovative programs that confront hunger with dignity, respect, and purpose, affirming the inherent value of every person as fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God.
Through Shepherds Pantry Ministry, SOS is launching a network of food pantries, with our first pantry planned to open in Dale City in 2026. These pantries prioritize access to fresh produce, proteins, and dairy—nutrient-dense foods often out of reach for food-insecure families. Through Transporting Hope, SOS delivers food directly to underserved communities while supporting mobile food distributions, partner pantries, and hot meal programs.
In all things, SOS seeks to glorify God by feeding the hungry, restoring hope, and revealing Christ’s love through faithful service
