Conflict and Forgiveness

JANUARY 12 - 26      SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
 In this 3-week class, we will address the challenging topics of conflict and forgiveness. In a fallen world where sin affects every relationship, the Bible provides clear guidance on navigating these difficulties. This class is designed to help you grow in maturity and Christlikeness as you face the interpersonal pains and trials of life, with the hope of forgiveness and reconciliation.

How To Teach The Bible

JANUARY 15 - FEBRUARY 5      WEDNESDAYS AT 6:00 PM
 
This 4-week class offers practical training on teaching God’s Word. Adapted from a Simeon Trust course on exposition, the class covers topics like understanding the structure and application of a text. It is designed to help participants better study and teach Scripture and is required for any members interested in teaching at CBC.

Doctrine of the Holy Spirit

FEBRUARY 2 - 23     SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
Over the course of four weeks, we will dive into a study of God the Holy Spirit, helping us grow in our knowledge of the third person of our Triune God. Through in-depth study, we’ll explore the eternal relations of the Spirit within the Trinity, His work in our lives, the gifts He imparts to believers, and much more. Join us as we study God theologically so that we can live out our faith practically in light of who He is.

Missionary Biography

MARCH 2-23      SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
This 4-week class explores the lives of faithful missionaries who sacrificed everything to reach the lost for Christ. In line with CBC’s March focus on Missions, this course aims to inspire us with biographies of missionaries who paved the way in this challenging yet rewarding work. Our hope is that your faith will be strengthened and your passion for reaching the unreached will grow. 

Dating

MARCH 30 - APRIL 13     SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
This 3-week class is designed to provide you with biblical principles and practical advice for dating. Whether you're currently dating, considering it, or desire to support others in their relationships, this class will offer Scriptural wisdom and guidance. The sessions will include discussion on things such as God's design for relationships, wisdom in relationships, and more. This is intended to be practical and help you navigate relationships in a God-honoring way.

Serving One Another

April 27 - MAY 4      SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
his two-week class will focus on a vital aspect of the Christian life: serving others. Jesus taught that He came not to be served but to serve (Matt. 20:28), and to follow His example, we’ll explore how to practically apply the “one-another” commands of the New Testament. Together, we’ll learn how to effectively serve each other according to Scripture, increasing love, joy, and selflessness in our church community.

Churchology

May 18- June 29     SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM
 
 This 6-week course is essential for understanding how God has chosen to bring His kingdom and wisdom to earth through the church. We’ll address key questions like, “What is a church?” and “What role do baptism and communion play in the church?” You’ll also gain a deeper grasp of the biblical foundations behind CBC practices, such as membership, the plurality of elders, congregational voting, baptism by immersion, and more. What you learn in this course will be directly applicable to your life as you continue to invest in the church.
