At Centreville Baptist Church, Member Care is committed to teaching and leading our disciples to care for one-another as a true church family.
We provide opportunities for all disciples of Jesus Christ to use their gifts, skills, and experiences to serve others in their time of need.
We embrace 1 John 3:18 as our calling: Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (NIV)
We believe the best and most effective care happens when we connect with one another in community.
CBC Members come together in community groups for all ages and life stages.
Visit our Community Groups page to find the best fit for you.
In addition to receiving care through the disciples in our Community Groups, we join together to offer additional resources and services, such as prayer, lay counseling, and more.

Prayer Team
A small group of faithful Prayer Warriors gathers online every Wednesdays at 7:00 pm to pray over requests from the church body and each other. We pray for anyone who needs it, Christian or non-christian.
Everyone is welcome to join the prayer team!
If you have prayer requests or would like to join the prayer team for a single Wednesday or to become a regular part of the team please contact Bob Gitschier.
To request prayer, please call the church office to speak with someone. We would love to pray for you and with you!

Lay Counseling Team
Our trained lay counselors disciple and counsel people who are struggling with life's challenges, such as relational and emotional difficulties. We help people recognize - and walk in - the freedom they have in Christ Jesus through a Bible-based approach.
Interested in receiving lay counseling or learning more about it? Please contact Bonita Hurdle.

Visitation Team
Our visitation team reaches out to people in local hospitals, those who are home bound, widows and widowers, those with limited mobility and others. We offer comfort, encouragement, support, prayer and further assistance for them and their loved ones.
Would you like to bless someone with a visit, or are you interested in helping with our visitation team? Please contact Bob Gitschier or call the church office.
