CBC understands its missionary task as having its members go on mission experiences, giving so others can go on mission, and praying for those that are on mission. CBC partners with both local and international organizations. We value ministries with strong relational ties to the current membership of CBC, and because teaching is central to disciple making, we support ministries that most align with the doctrine of our church and what we consider to be the biblical understanding of the gospel.
Partner Organizations
International Mission Board (IMB)
The mission of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention is to carry out the Great Commision by making disciples of all nations. Founded in 1845, it is currently the largest mission sending organization in the world with over 3,500 missionaries. Over time, the IMB has shifted focus from geographic countries to people groups, with a concerted effort to start church planting movements among unreached peoples. As a Southern Baptist Church, CBC supports the IMB through our annual Global Missions Offering. You can individually support the IMB is through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which funds more than 50% of IMB work.

Mission India (2025 Highlight Ministry)
Over 400 million people who live in India have never heard the name of Jesus. It is the most unreached nation on earth. Roughly 2% of the population is Christian and they face extreme persecution. Mission India partners with more than 1,700 Indian churches and indigenous ministries to train and equip them to evangelize, disciple new believers, and plant churches through three distinct evangelism strategies: Church Planter Training, Adult Literacy Classes, and Children's Bible Clubs. Each program has been developed by Indians, for Indians, and is designed to work effectively within specific physical, emotional, and social challenges such as poverty and caste discrimination.
20Schemes (2024 Highlight Ministry)
For such a little nation, Scotland has a rich gospel heritage. However, what once was known as ‘the land of the Book’ has changed. Today, Biblical Christianity has been sidelined in Scotland. Only 2.5% of Scots would call themselves Evangelical Christians, and in Scotland’s poorest communities, the schemes, the picture is even bleaker! 20Schemes works to transform Scotland’s schemes by the gospel of Jesus Christ through revitalization and planting of gospel-preaching churches, ultimately led by a future generation of indigenous church leaders.

Supported Missionaries
K-Family
This missionary family works within the former Soviet Union as church planters with CRU. They are able to travel throughout the former Soviet Union, sharing the Gospel with ethnic Muslims and Russians alike, reaching areas to which western missionaries would not have access. Together, they teach Bible studies, train people in methods of evangelism and discipleship, plant churches, help with women's ministry, and work with groups within schools to give Christian presentations directly to school children. Prior to COVID, CBC sent teams every year to help with their summer outreach programs for children.
Steve & Nancy Rodemann
Steve and Nancy have served in Spain for the past 44 years. Currently they are serving through Avant Ministries, working in evangelism, discipleship, and Bible teaching. Spain is a secular post-Christian European society with little Christian witness. Thousands of towns have no evangelical church and no known Christians. Their current focus is on equipping the next generation. Steve teaches at four different Bible formation institutions and during COVID started a daily online video Bible devotional that reaches 1000 homes around Spain and beyond; he also coordinates an association of Spanish churches committed to taking the gospel to frontier people groups in North Africa and Asia. Nancy directs a ministry in Madrid that uses African American gospel music to communicate the message of Christ to about 3000 secular Spaniards every season. Prior to COVID, CBC sent youth teams to help out with a Christian summer camp where Steve is the featured speaker every year.
Chris & Eileen Carr
The Carrs are the directors of Global Gates Canada. This organization focuses on modern immigrants which represents a new era in pioneer missions. Today’s migration, transnationalism, globalization, and urbanization pose unprecedented opportunities to take the gospel to the ends of the earth through the gateways provided within global cities. The Carr's team reaches out to immigrants who come from the least-reached people groups through Canadian gateway cities with the goal that these peoples take the Gospel back to their lands of origin. They work among a multiplicity of people groups in the Greater Toronto Area and also in South Asia (Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan). They believe that the best way to start new churches is by making disciples first and then “creating” churches naturally.
Aubrey & Juliette Ralph
World Hope Ministries International provides theological training to pastors and church leaders, equipping them to lead healthy churches that can affect gospel transformation. Aubrey Ralph, a former elder at CBC, works with WHMI and focuses on the Caribbean and Guyana. He provides both remote and in-person pastoral training, often traveling to remote locations.
Aubrey and Juliette helped found Rebuild Haiti, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquakes. Their mission is to assist Haitians in rebuilding their nation by improving access to food, education, and housing. Initially, teams often consisting of CBC members, traveled to Haiti regularly, linking up with local churches and working shoulder to shoulder with our Haitian brothers and sisters but recent political instability has prevented direct travel. Work continues on the ground through an amazing team of Haitian Christians.

Bobby Jamieson (2024)
Bobby Jamieson is a church planter currently planting a new church in Chapel Hill, NC . He currently serves as senior pastor at the new Trinity Baptist Church. God has blessed the growth of the new church body and the spirit of unity among members. Trinity Baptist members love their community by going out onto the local college campus, into nursing homes, and among their neighborhoods. They were initially meeting at a Sheraton hotel, but recently found a better place to convene at a local elementary school, where Bobby hopes for more evangelistic opportunities by serving the staff, parents, and students at this school.
